Location Recces

I'm going to film in this location because my advert is about a double decker driver so i will need it to look as real as possible. As covid is still around there might be some limitations as it may not be safe to film at a certain time especially in rush hours. This is when its the busiest. So you should plan and set timings when its less busy to be on the safe side. Without covid this is the perfect location as it links to my double decker chocolate and fits well with my storyline. My storyline is really imaginative so brining some real life things to the advert would get the audience interested.

In this picture you can see a bus station. This is like the home of the buses including double decker's. Filming in this location would be a good idea as you can see what's going on and while filming you could see other double decker's driving in the background. This makes the advert link back to the product as it builds the double decker picture in your head. You have to keep in mind that the advert is only 30 seconds so you cant film too much in too many locations or it will go overboard and be a mess.

Then the advert will show you places that you can buy the chocolate bar from. As its a short advert this scene will only be shown for a little amount of time as its the least important to the storyline. Covid could affect this because now there as huge queues all around. With this being said you change stores and just do a local corner shop if needed. Superstores like Tesco has been packed due to the pandemic so it may not be a good idea to film there.

I could also get in contact with the Double Decker fun club. Maybe we could get this bus in advert as it would be good for entertainment. This will bring a lot of attention from different audiences including people who like buses etc. A problem could be the covid pandemic right now. As its a big problem this could be a setback when borrowing buses and having people in it. This is because its going to have a lot of people as its a sort of fun club. We will have to see the covid restrictions and how far we can go with this plan.
