Response to client brief

Explanation of demographics:
The chocolate Double Decker is a British brand of chocolate bar currently manufactured by Cadbury. The audience is chocolate lovers or could be Cadbury fans. Surprisingly the audience could also be fans of buses as the name derives from well known double decker buses. As it has a unique name and meaning when advertising you can link it to real life buses etc. An advantage of making an advertising campaign could be that its all owned by Cadbury. This means it will get more recognition as it's a big name. Double Decker is not one of the famous Cadbury chocolates so that could be a disadvantage when advertising it.

Conventions:
My advertising campaign conventions could be print advertising. Posters is a way of advertising and is more old fashioned now because of the technology nowadays. Another convention could social media. This is another way to promote a product as it has millions of users. I can design a picture of my product for my poster and can also use it for my social media platform so the audience don't get confused.

Industry requirements:
The institution for my product is Cadbury. It is the second largest confectionery brand in the world after Mars. They are well known for making popular chocolates e.g. Double Decker, Dairy Milk etc. The advantages with working with this institution is that they are popular so your product will do well. A disadvantage is that as they are so popular other chocolates can outshine the rest. This will effect the product.

Medium:
Im working in radio and Tv. For Tv it will have a storyline etc. However radio is a bit different as its all about sound. This means there will be a lot more talking (about the product).
