History of the Double Decker bar
What product have you chosen and why?
I have chosen the chocolate bar 'Double Decker' as my product because I like how unique it is.
When did cadburys first launch the product?
They launched the product in 1976 manufactured by Cadbury.
Who do you think the audience is for the product?
It could be Cadbury fans or fans of double decker buses as that's what it's representing.
New ideas
I could maybe change the colour as its dull and the colours don't fit right. Could make it look more attractive to get more sales.
What ideas might you use from this campaign?
The writing on packaging looks attractive so I would keep that. The font will stay the same or be very similar as I like it.
This advert was one of the first Double Decker adverts ever. In the advert the main target is to promote the product but there giving details about the chocolate. The chocolate has two halves. One side is chewy and the other side is crunchy. The name Double Decker comes from that as there's two different sections on a bus so they took that idea and used it on their chocolate. In the advert they titled it saying 'Fascinating Combinations'. They then put two pictures together e.g. a business man and a monkey, a chicken and a boxer etc. They are trying to say that weird and unique combinations can work sometimes and that's what they've done with their product.
